I had the pleasure of interviewing my first addict today. I think this was his third or fourth time in the methadone clinic over his 25 year history with heroin. And it kills you to think that he's probably going to relapse back within a couple of years even if the treatment goes well. If he doesn't die of liver failure from his Hep C first. How depressing.
